The artist, Lee Jae-hoon's works which are made by fresco technique, ask us direct questions about problems in social and human relationships, and cleverly raise issues with problems. What he tells in his works in common is 'Unmonument'. In other words, it is a monument that can not be commemorate. The monuments in his works symbolize idealized sense of a social system and shows strong contradiction as a unsubstantial substitute at the same time. Starting with this paradox, the artist represents gelidly and lightly various phenomenon which has a gap in realities. He is faced with the line of social demarcation by questioning if it can be a monument. His works can be categorized in three parts as , , under theme of 'Unmonument'. shows blind humanity in social system, tells more caricatured criticism of reality, and his latest works, reminds vivid impression through representing artificial relationship between humanity and society such as putting the cart before the horse. It is more than inconvenient truths that diverse figures in his works which satirize our present, arouse us weird tension and self-reflection.
