The First Children’s Art Museum in Korea - Open Your Heart, Meet Art! Hello Museum is a small museum in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu in Seoul. In 2007 it was the first children’s museum to be registered, and is currently a member, with the Association of Children’s Museums. Hello Museum collects and researches various works in diverse genres that can introduce visual art concepts and styles to children. Through specialized exhibitions and educational programs, the museum provides intensified art education. Currently, the museum is securing its financial independence with community contribution activities and developments in commercial goods. It is becoming increasingly popular among the public, as proven by the 13-curated shows that brought nearly 50,000 visitors and 400 media outlets. Hello Museum is trying to be the representing children’s museum of Asia by becoming an innovative institute to inspire other international museums and educators around the world.
