In June 2014, it is a great pleasure to announce that the Korean art museum association became an institutional partner of Artsy(https://artsy.net), an leading online platform for discovering, learning about, and collecting art.
Since their launch in October 2012, Artsy has reached 7 million unique art lovers and collectors in 226 countries providing more 160,000 images of world art with one of the largest online collections of contemporary art. Artsy now partners with 200 outstanding museums, foundations, and institutions, including: Guggenheim Museum, J. Paul Getty Trust, British Museum, Fondation Beyeler, Calder Foundation, Dedalus Foundation, TIME/LIFE, and more. To be a partner with Artsy, it must pass a strict evaluation. The Korean art museum association became the first institutional partner of Artsy in Korea to promote Korean contemporary art worldwide. The Korean art museum association opened Korean Artist Project's blog at Artsy providing the contents-works, virtual exhibitions, interviews, etc- of a total of 75 artists.
